If you have distribuled your Articulate Presenter, Quizmaker or Engage content via a CD you might have run into a Flash Player Security warning about Flash and local content.
For more info on the issue see this technote (http://support.articulate.com/kb/000699.php).
Well a cool program called HTML Executable allows you to repackage your published web content as a single EXE file. The bonus of doing this is that your users won't get prompted about Flash Player security warnings.
I would recommend trying it out though because I haven't fully tested it, but it seemed to work pretty well for me.

Dave,
I gave this program a try and it worked well for straight Presenter content; however, it did not correctly display QuizMaker or Engage content. I suspect this has to do with how it packages the folders but cannot confirm that. Let me know if you have any good ideas about why this might be occuring.
Hey Rob,
Hmmm, I don't have any good ideas off the top of my head because I haven't played with the program that much. I still intend to look at the program more. I'll let you know what I find out when I get the time.
Dave,
Looks like some of my movies play and I was incorrect. I will need to see what the issue is with some of my FLV files and engage...perhaps my original FLVs became corrupt.
Sorry for the bad info on HTML Executable.
Rob

Hi Dave,
I used the html executable and I still get the stealhray.html error. I'm wondering if there's a speicifc step that I'm missing?
When I select internet explorer based publication or stand-alone html viewer publication I don't see any of the custom pics that I setup to be the play button for the pop-up simulation.
Thanks,
Jake
It's now Feb 2008, and still no solution for the Flash security warning (and problems with attachments) when making CDs. Why not let potential buyers of your software know there is this limitation?
